Background Story

This is Ben Harper’s debut album. A proper blues/folk record. Sorrow and melancholy go across the whole album, with some exceptions. It accompanied me in good and bad times.

I would like to mention also another of Harper’s song. It’s not in this album but I think is one of the best songs ever written: “Boa Sorte”. A featuring with Vanessa de Mata a brasilian singer/song writer. It’s worth a listening.
